Any STEAM games that will run nicely on an AMD A4 4000?

As the name of the topic says....
I'm almost ready to build my [next/new] PC. Just need to get a mechanical keyboard & Windows 8.1 (and speakers) then I'll be good to go!

My dad has an old Xeon based system and runs FSX Steam Edition. So, I was wondeing IF there were any games that would run on my system?

System Specs:
AMD A4 4000 (3GHz)
Gigabyte F2A88XM-DS2 rev 3 Motherboard
WD Blue 1TB (7200 rpm) Hard Drive
Corsair XMS3 8GB 1333 DDR3 memory (1 stick)
Corsair CX430 Power Supply
LiteOn (rebranded as OCUK) DVD/RW drive
AOC E2270Sw 21.5" Monitor

(plus a couple of other bits and bobs)

Please note this this system IS a lowend computer which I was going for (due to low funds; long story!) But in time, I plan on building a more powerful system that will run alongside this particular build. And also, this system can (and no doubt will) be upgraded to an extent... :O)

Cheers folks for any recommendations and have a great day whereever you are!!!

I can't see what graphics card you have, but many games on Steam have low requirements and happily run on older or lower end CPU's. The original half-life game was realeased in 1998 and Half-life 2 in 2004. Most of the Source engine games that then followed, Team Fortress 2 etc. therefore have very low requirements to be playable.

Also have a look on GOG.com, there are loads of old games on there with low requirements that are lot's of fun.

Source 1 games would probably work, is that board FM2 or FM2+?

Oops!!! Yep, the A4 4000 APU has Integrated graphics GPU Type: Radeon HD 7480D

FM2+
A88X Chipset

You really shoulda got dual channel RAM for that chip though

Well here'd be a decent upgrade anyways

My brother ordered it and I didn't realise that it was a single 8GB stick. Its ok though as I'll be able to get a second stick and have 16GB total. :O)

You could do that, but you really want dual channel memory with an APU, and it isn't guaranteed that it would work if you bought a different stick, besides that the price difference isn't much, just use the single stick in a future build or something
