im looking to upgrade to an ssd for my os, and my most used programs, i dont know much about them. So, i need the help of the smart people at teksyndicate. what is the best hands down ssd, around 120 / 256 gb. Dont say the most expensive thing ever, please. I have a dying gpu and smashed case, tells you how much money i have.
new case will be a haf stacker !
I have a Corsair Neutron Series GTX 120gb. Only $120 on Newegg. I saw it rated highly in a SSD reliability chart somewhere. Been using it for a few months. No complaints, would recommend.
lel 1$ a gb ....
I can get the 840 pro 258 GB for 100€ , I personally vouch for that one .
But all ssd's these days are limited by sata 3 , not by the speed of the ssd itself .
I have had two Samsung Evo 120GB SSD's and although I haven't owned any other SSD to compare them to they stand up to a lot of punishment and are a hell of a lot faster than WD Black's!
thank you guys!!
- Samsung EVO´s
- Adata SX900´s.
