Is this a good build for a gaming PC? any recommendations or agreement would be good :)

Try to upgrade to a 7870.  You will see a huge boost in performance.  Also try a more well known brand for the psu (cordair, seagate etc.).  If you can spring for an AMD FX 8350 it wil be much worth while.  You might be better off starting with a 1tb drive so you can get the 8350 and then adding on later. Get a mobo like the ASRock 970 extreme4 to get the USB 3.0 and alot of extra features too. My setup actually looks close to yours.
