As always with computers, you'll get better recommendations if you say what you want to do with your laptop. For that price you can buy one of them ultrabooks. It'd be really light so it's easy to take everywhere. This might be easy if you're in college and take notes on your pc, or just drag it around all day.
If you want some more performance though, they're not that good. You'd have to look at some other laptops then.
I'll be mostly gaming. So I am looking for high performance.
