Any idea if these parts will be any good?

Hi guys, I'm totally new here, and I'm trying to plan out my first PC build. I've done a bit of looking around trying to find parts I'm hoping will be good for a decent gaming PC, that'll hopefully be able to handle next gen games for a while to come. As far as I know, these should be alright, but I just wanted somebody else's opinions on these parts, and any tips anybody could give me?

The parts I've already got are:

RAM: 2x4GB BallistiX Tactical Tracer 1600MHz

Case: NZXT Phantom 410

PSU: XFX ProSeries (XXX Edition) 750W

HDD: Currently have two old hard drives I can use for extra storage space in the new build

Parts I need to finish the main build:

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

CPU: Either the AMD FX 8350, or FX 9370 (if it'll make a big enough difference)

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB

SSD: Either the Samsung 840 Evo, or the Kingston HyperX 3K (Both 120GB)

Graphics Card: Either the XFX Radeon HD 7950 3GB, or the Asus GeForce GTX 760 2GB

Parts I'm planning on adding later to finish the build off:

CPU Cooler: I'm not too sure about this one, any tips on what would be good for basic overclocking?

RAM: Another 8GB of the same BallistiX Tactical Tracer memory

Lighting: NZXT HUE Light Controller

I've thought about the next gen console games using AMD 8-core processors, so I felt that AMD might be better for gaming in the near future, but if anybody has a better Intel CPU/Motherboard combo in mind, around the same price, that's be handy! Also, opinions on ATI/Nvidia?

If it helps, here's the PCPartPicker list as well: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2fvpW

Thanks a lot for the help, sorry if that was a bit long!

don't take the fx 9370 or the 8350. grab a 8320. you need to buy a aftermarket cooler with these cpu. watch a video. it is a freaking jet when you load a game. 10.000rpm fan. and don't buy a 7950 from xfx. if you buy a 7950 you should oc to get the most out of it. you can go to 1100-1200mhz with it but not with xfx. locked voltages and has only 1 bios so flashing isn't a option. a gtx 770 overclocked is the same as a 7950/7970 oc. watch linus tech tips.

pickup a FX8350 the money you safe,  pickup a R9-280X gpu. ☺

Thanks :) Any idea which would be a better GPU brand then?

And that's a bit too expensive for me, the 7950 is about the most expensive GPU I can get just now :P
