Well...there's a lot of awesome progressive metal out there. Not sure just how "out there" you're looking to listen, but here's a list in no particular order:

- Arsis: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgfRwYNOCC8
- Heljareyga (essentially progressive Tyr): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdC_MvgVKJ0

- Fallujah: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZDg1Bnr6Wc and the song right after that one on the album http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrhodOuq6qE
I'm probably forgetting about some really important, must-listen-to band...but eh. This'll keep you busy for a little while.
Prog is a massive genre. Can you deal with harsh vocals? I can recommend a lot more in that case... Actually, here are some specimens. Let me know which ones you prefer and I can recommend similar bands:
Progressive Death Metal: Martriden - this song is amazing from around the 2:30 mark until the end:

Progressive/ Avantgarde Metal: Unexpect

Progressive Psychedellic Rock: Astra
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7xwJ1-S6Bc
Let me know which styles you like the best. There are heavier progressive styles as well.
I can deal with the harsh vocals, as long it has a melodic beat to it. I'm also looking for a lot of Progressive Power Metal Bands.
Already heard of all those bands. Thanks though
If you want to hear progressive metal you have to lsiten to dream Theater.
Perirphery, Art by numbers, Beacons, Between the buried and me, Circles, El Scar, Bulb, Dysfunctional, VIA
Keith Marrow, Chimp Spanner, Elitist, Erra, Uneven Structure, Aliases
I couldn't Disagree with any of these bands
Specially Heljareyga, by far my favourite album for the year.
only thing i could really think of adding to this at this point of time would be
James LaBrie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVRo2zIENuE
Circus Maximus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZ6ROA8hj-4&feature=plcp
Guilt machine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heqzGwmmLjE
Ayreon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIqRsl8Vm-Q
Theres so much more it take for ever to name everything
I'm sure you've already heard of Gojira, but check out Intronaut: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFYGL5qOt70
Not so much progressive metal than it is progressive rock, but the album Doomsday Afternoon by Phideaux is something you should definately check out.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_progressive_metal_artists
Some of these may not be considered metal, but good progressive music either way:
Riverside, Porcupine Tree, Indukti, Proghma-C, Gru (Stellar is amazing), Animals as Leaders, Bulb, Tool, Office of Strategic influence (OSI), I Mother Earth (Specifically their first album 'Dig', and the last album 'The Quicksilver Meat Dream'), Division by Zero, YouTube 'Empyrean', trippy ass vid, some random dude wrote it so I got no band name for you.... Hope you like some of these
Alright let me help you out here.
Haken: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q97gsNppY7g
Haken is a fantastic progressive metal band with a unique style. Not all of their songs on the Nocturnal Conspiracy album have lyrics. If the video above sparked your interest, check out Portals.
Pyramaze: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qw7ZnzCxUDY
I love pyramaze, they are certainly progressive power metal as requested. This is one of my favorites by them.
Stratovarius: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikDS1TBAElo
Once again a progressive power metal band. This song blew my mind when I first heard it and it is still one of my all time favorites.
I dont wan't to flood this page with youtube videos, so I will just tell you other bands I recommend as well as a song I think is a good example of their work.
Nevermore: This Godless Endeavor
Guitarwork in this song is flawless.
Tool: 10,000 Days
A highly recommended song by a lot of people.
Kamelot: Ghost Opera
Symphonic progressive metal
Circus Maximus: Mouth of Madness
That entire album is a story, and this song really stuck out to me.
Progressive Metal is the genre I listen to the most. I can't recommend enough good artists, so here's a long picture guide I got off of 4chan a while ago.

Give Virus a listen, it's composed from members from the KVLT Norwegian progressive metal act "Ved Buens Ende" (and if you haven't heard that well that's a good tip as well!).

Circus Maximus
Dream Theater
John Petrucci
Firewind
Masodon
Opeth
Outopsya
TesseracT
Andromeda
What happens when four geniuses come together and make music? Tool. This band has changed the way I think and the way I live. They are considered prog but I like to think of them as their own genre. Also, another amazing band is Opeth which I saw was mentioned above.
Just to add on, here's some of the 'new progressive' bands.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pskj9sbffg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4h0rlWX5lM - This band has another new vocalist now, and a new song with him coming out next month. Can't wait.
