Any changes I should make before I order?

Hello there. I have all my Christmas money and I'm ready to order my first gaming rig!! I was wondering if there was anything wrong with it or if there are any changes that should be made to make this as good as possible. I appreciate all the help I can get.

What do you plan to do with the rig? Is it gaming only or will it be video rendering, ect ect

It will be for hardcore gaming. I may upgrade to a i7 if I feel like doing video rendering.

looks pretty good to me

Do you really need an 850W PSU and 16 gigs of ram? :)

Well, I found the PSU on sale on Newegg, so why not. I have been considering getting a lower wattage and getting from a better brand like Corsair or Seasonic. And do you not need 16gb of ram. Is that overkill?

you could get by with 8gb also the h100 is totally un necicary for a 3570k but if you do intend to get a i7 3770k later on then maybe.

and if your not playing on 3 2560x1600 monitors you dont really need a 680 4gb a 2gb would do just fine for 1080p and 2560x1600 single monitors

hope it helped!

you cannot really use 16GB of RAM, and you should consider a 7970 over a 680

7970 for multiple monitors 680 for adobe creative suites

The reason I went with the 680 is I want to do some work with Adobe in the future and the cuda cores apparently help with that. If the h100 is unnecessary, what after market cooler should i get. Keep in mind that I plan to over clock up to 4.2, maybe 4.5 if I can.

If going to 4.2-4.5 then the h100 is good.

In an article that i just read the H80i (thick rad with double good quality fans) is just about as good as an H100i. Just thought i would throw that out there if you wanted a cheeper closed loop cooler but it would still be much better than air if you were to overclock.

Yes, I read that too, but the new NZXT kraken series performs better than the Corsair ones (unless you don't have any single or dual 140mm mounts)
