is there any interest in an RSS feed for the beesysnicate bee blog ?
Could be neat. I do have a question. Do you have to do anything different in the winter?
what do you mean?
Like do bees go into hibernation or do you have to check the hive temps in the winter?

bees do not go into hibernation. they cluster together and beat there wings very hard to create heat. They usually keep the brood chamber at about 90 F. All that hard work takes a lot of energy that's why honey bees make honey so that they have all those easy carbs to spend over the winter. So you do need to make winter inspections to check for illnesses just like in summer. plus as food becomes scares you have to deal with other wildlife looking to exploit the bees honey or looking to move into the warm hive. so there is still plenty to do.
