OK Tek community. With the bees arriving soon I need to start thinking about a webcam for a stream of the hives. Need some recommendations for good yet inexpensive. I would like to get a camera in the hive so it would need to be low lite and small. Id also like to have one outside so it would need to be weather proof. They may need to be wireless but I could probably work around that.
If you want wireless, and if you need several spread across a large space, you should probably get an IP camera. If you only need 1 or 2, you might be better suited using a Raspberry Pi with a weatherproof case and USB webcams. Will you have power out there, or does it need to be battery or something? And what about Ethernet?
