Hi everyone! I'm going to build my second PC, and I would really like some feedback :) I'm going to use it for gaming (Mainly GTA V), video editing in Sony Vegas Pro, and a bit of Photoshop.

A few of my thoughts:
1. Are you running those HDDs in a RAID?
2. I would recommend getting a 2x8GB RAM kit. That way you could add more later if needed without having to get rid of any of what you already have.
3. Don't get a Z87 board with that processor. You want a Z97 for the best compatiblity. I have heard that some Z87s will work with the 4790k, but I wouldn't risk it. Gigabyte has a GA-Z97-D3H that is a similar price. I don't know if that is the best board. Someone may recommend a different one. Also, it depends on your budget. I would get a UD series if it were my money.
4. You won't need a power supply that big for a GTX 770. Unless you plan for adding another later, even then 750 is high, but better within reason for SLI 770s.
Just a few thoughts.
Z97 chipset motherboard for better compatibility.
2x8GB. Z97/z87/LGA1150 can only take advantage of dual channel.
I do prefer air coolers, such as the Noctua NH-D14, or a Phanteks equivalent. They are quieter than the H100i, and perform very similarly. Since your case has no window, that's what I've done.
Less wattage power supply. 650w is plenty, and still has massive overclocking headroom.
R9 290 for larger 4GB of VRAM. If your video editors can only utilize CUDA acceleration, and not OpenCL then switch back to the 770.

If you plan to Crossfire/SLI in the future, bump up the PSU to 850w and get a motherboard like the MSI Z97-G55 SLI.
Thanks guys!
Yes, RAID 10 on the HDDs, because of performance and I'm really nervous about loosing my files.
I already got the motherboard a few months ago, so I would rather not spend money on a new. Also, on Gigabyt's website, the 4790K is on a list for supported processors... but I'm thinking if a 4770 would be enough for me?
I'm getting 2x8GB and a 650 watts instead :)
Personally I agree with getting the 4770k. I think everything else looks good.
