Another build

~ or <500 USD build

Light to moderate gaming as well as regular use

Link to it (EDIT: more expensive, less expensive

It is for my friend. I was going to go the a10 route but noticed I could grab a dedicated card for a similar price.

It comes with my old case.

I might use the money he will spend on the card and pool it with mine to get a new card for me and he will get my old (HD 7950) but that will most likely not happen.

Opinions? Any better components to substitute what has been selected?

well i would recommend getting a GIGABYTE GA-F2A88XM-D3H and AMD Athlon X4 750k and use the money saved to get a r9 270x which is far more powerful then a gtx 750 ti or if you want only get the cheaper motherboard and use the money saved to get a r9 270 which is also far more powerful then then the gtx 750 ti. the rest of your built looks great through and here are the links.

That MSI motherboard is terrible. Stay away from it. High failure rates and bad power delivery.

Do not get a 750 Ti. For a little more you can get the R9 270 which will kill it. The R9 270 and 270X are the same really. Just clock speed differences. You can easily OC the 270 to 270x or higher speeds.

Tiny bit over budget but worth it.
