Another 760?

Here's the situation:

I currently have a GTX760 (Gigabyte Windforce OC) and I run it on a Dell 1080p IPS monitor. It gets good frame rates with max details in pretty much any game.

I would like to get a 1440p monitor and keep the 1080p one to switch between output for my laptop and secondary monitor for my desktop. However, I think I'm going to take a hit in gaming performance if I run the 760 at 1440p.

I would also like to not spend too much.

My question is: Is it a good idea to just get another Windforce 760?

Things to consider:

- I saw in benchmark results that they SLI-scale really well in pretty much everything. Are there any notable exceptions that you know of?

- I would be running them in a Fractal Design R4 with 3x140mm chassis fans + intake/exhaust from an H80i in push-pull. Would that be enough airflow for them considering that the Windforce doesn't have a blower cooler?

- They would run off a Corsair RM750 PSU. Is that enough? (the rest of the system is an i7 4770, 2xSSDs, 1xHDD, cooling mentioned above);

- My current MB can't do SLI, but I'll be switching to a Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 pretty soon. I don't think that has any relevance, but I just threw it in there.

I have 2x 760 windforce cards in sli. Scaling is really good and is less of a headache than any xfire setup i've had. They bench higher than a stock 780ti. At 1080p you'll have enough grunt for a good while. Your psu is more than fine as well. At max load mine used 670w. (2700k oc'd, wc loop, 1/2 dozen hdds/ssds, 9 fans, + gpus).

if you have the 2gig 760 then you may have issues with VRAM in some games (modded skyrim for example) but other than that the 760 will perform amazingly in SLI

Alright then, sounds like the way to go.

Thanks, guys.
