this "chinese"(i don't know what language that is) search/command box appears while gaming, IT pops up when i do something involving the shift key
in shadow of mordor pops up when im interrogating enemies which is ctrl+space but for some reason i need to press shift too or it wont work, so i press ctrl+shift+space and after 1 or 2 attemps it appears
it goes away when i press esc but i soon as i try to walk or use the keyboard in game, it starts typing in the box and the game wont respond to the keyboard
If i restart the game it goes away, it shows up in skyrim too but i dont remember what i press in that game
if i alt-tab to the desktop it dissapears and everything works when i type in the browser or something else, if i go back to the game the box its back again
it doesnt show up on the taskmanager either, and in the process tab i dont see anything suspicious
Please does anyone know what it is and how do i get rid of it? Is driving me insane!
I get this to, it happens when I accidentally forget to switch the windows input method from Japanese to English before starting a game. Do you have any other keyboard enabled in Windows? you can check by going to "Control Panel / Clock, Language, and Region / Language" then remove any un-needed keyboards
After you get to this point, click "change key sequence" and put check boxed to either "not assigned" or to something that not interfere with your game. That should fix it.
