I really like the anime! It's very modern in the sense that you can sort of relate to the characters or even just get the idea that it's 21st century living at it's best. The story plot never loses track on each episode as they try and introduce new subjects as the viewer progresses through out the show. It's very unique.
What are your people's thoughts? And if you haven't watched the show yet, you should!

I've been greatly enjoying this anime. The story interests me greatly because I often wonder what it would be like to go back to my childhood while retaining the knowledge I currently have. What would I notice that I missed before? What could I change, if anything at all? It's a fun thought exercise.

The last anime that made me like and actually be excited for an MC... Damn I cant remember when that was.
I like anime, but there are a lot of stereotypes and cliches in the animes that I don't like. It's mostly fan service type of stuff. Example is Nichijou vs... i dunno... To Love Ru. My favorite animes are good comedies and psychological horrors (not at the same time).
You should check out Psychopass if you haven't already. Not a horror, but heavy on the psychological elements.

Mirai Nikki (Has alot of cliche and WHINY ASS FUCKING CHARACTERS but the overall design is great)

I have watched all those. I might have to check out what @acetothermus said about Psychopass. Currently, but slowly, I'm watching Zankyou no Terror. If you want to share more, shoot them my way! :)
Dont like that much thriller type of animes, but ERASED seems to hook me up.

The problem I have is that I've watched so many anime's but I only remember the names of maybe 10% of what I've watched...

Oh man, the names are so hard for me to remember, glad to see I'm not the only one lol.
I know good trick for that, just remember something similar or any other anime from that year.
Go to MyAnimeList and check those recommendations, and It'll usually be there as people tend to recommend copies or anything they liked near that time.
Basically "I got caught in this hype and I also liked this other hype Anime, so you should like it too.." :D
You expect me to remember the release dates of 200+ animes and about 800 mangas? XD

In summary, the writer is terrible, just terrible really and certain aspects of the plot were revealed too early for what should be a mystery plot.

It's very intricate drama. Not as action oriented as I think Gin no Saji is.
