I've given quite a few recommendations for members of the forums and since I decided to do this for my other friend just now, here is my [updated list, as I've posted themm before somewhere] anime collection since around 2004.. (when I started getting big into anime) The ones that are highlighted are my recommended ones.
Post up your collection of anime, no matter how big or small it is. I sadly haven't really bought anime for the longest time, since DVD box sets are too expensive for a jobless bum as myself. Though I'll definitely go try to find DVDs of some of my favorites once I'm working. I'm quite interested in what many of yours look like, especially you two pansy baddies who haven't finished watching Clannad After Story.. You know who you are. :3
..And I just realized that I have my older external HDD with some more anime in it.. I'll just edit my post tomorrow or something.
That is just what i have ripped to the harddrive... I highlighted my favorites. I have about twice that on DVD... My other favorites are Ghost in the Shell, Spirited Away... Samurai X... and I forget... lol.
and a crap ton of DVD's which i can't really remember off the top of my head, but there was things like ah my goddess, yakitate japan, scryde, capeta, oh man, i have no idea, a lot

currently watching bleach,naruto,eureka 7 and ghost in the shell second gig..i've completed basilisk,death note,gundam seed,dbz(obviously)....and stay far far away from manga for some reason.

And Logan, Ninja Scroll was crazy.. but not really my thing. I love Totoro though and got a tshirt and hat of the blue one.
@Evo, damn I tried watching some anime raw, (without subtitles, for those who don't know the term) and yea.. not easy. lol Though I was able to understand plenty of the little chitta chatta and the general happenings. :3
it's great cause you get the episodes before everyone else, but you also lose it before everyone else and in long term you can almost never find raw releases, subtitles distract me so much >.<
lol.. I took a CLASS for 4 years, but 3 years learning the language IN JAPAN is a world of difference in terms of what you learn and being completely submerged in the culture.. So that for the most part, you're being forced to speak it. So that's great man. The subtitles don't really pull me away from anything, but it would be awesome if I could understand it enough to the point where I wouldn't need subtitles anymore.
