Let's see some animal photos. Pets or in the wild. Doesn't matter. Insects, bugs and other creepy crawlies will be a different thread. I'll start off.
First two are my pets. The third picture is a swan with a muscovy duck (I think) who is hanging around the local town lake.
Cows look all lined up.
I will start with my cats
Puffin
Percy
Next the dogs
Jasmine
Lily
Gus
Pooky
These are my Pet shots. Wild animals coming soon..............
Reviving the thread. I really want to buy a DSLR.
Found this pretty metal moth in my garden today. A picture from my One M8.
The rest of these are from a family holiday to Kenya in 2009. Sorry about the quality, had to download them from my mum's Facebook. Taken with a Canon bridge camera. I was 13 and didn't have the know how to use anything but automatic mode.
We have a few robins that make nest under our deck every year.

great shots NJM
To get those shots I had to stand on a latter and hold the camera up over me. I couldn't look through the viewfinder so this was done in live view.
Did I mention the camera was upside down? The remote flash I used made the camera too tall to get a good angle so i held i upside down to get a better view. Also, This is done at minimum focus distance.
Ya, but you got the shot. Well done!
Which flash are you using?
Nikon Speedlight SB-24. I forget how much a friend of mine sold it to me form, but it works really well.
also that 4channel remote flash thingy
Great work. Really cool to see the babies like this.
Didn't know baby birds were so ugly though.
