I don’t have enough apps for that to be an issue. Also when I used to use Titanium Backup for the app data it was kind of a nightmare because some applications really didn’t like at all a restore like that.
The only company that did this properly were Windows Phone 8, since then all the other guys just pretend.
There is no point pretending like this is a grey area. We had a working solution and android is already prepared for it. iOS is not, but they do have full cloud backup as a consolation price.
The only thing left is to stand clear - disabling the cloud backup and clearly stating what you want. Venting does not really help anybody.

So many users enable malware by choice - you really want root to be available with a press of a button?
