I’m running Lineage on almost all my devices (sailfish on my Nex7), they got their shit together and pulled a really nice android distro. Hope you get lucky and get a port for your device! OpenGapps.org for the gapps is the easiest way.
EDIT: forgot to add Magisk as root alternative and Greenify for battery enhancements.
Exposed gave me too much troubles in the past so I’m staying away from those
