What do you guys think? I am new to PCs and looking for advice! Thanks

With a 500 dollar budget it looks pretty good to me. I like Gigabyte boards and I see this one has a PCIE 3 so wit the 1155 socket you can upgrade this board with a better CPU and GPU later on. It always helps when you can score parts from friends at great prices as it lets you add a little more to your build. Logan recommends the G Skill RAM and I have the 2X8 in my last AMD build and it has a Gigabyte board in it too. Overall it looks good for 500 but don’t forget you will need an OS which will add another 100 to your build cost.

Thanks for the reply Evo! Yes, I got the OS over the holidays :)

You can get a 1TB HDD for only like ten dollars more:

That`s the only thing I can see, great job.
