I got a AMH monitor A399U from ebay and I’m old. I’m afraid to plug it in with the adapter bec I’m unsure if i’ll fry it. I was stationed in Germany long ago and we had very heavy transformers back then. Wanted to check with the experts before doing anything. Is it safe to use a plug with the adaptor or will i need the voltage converter and plug? The seller is clueless as to what it needs and the instructions are in Korean. Please, advise and ty so much

Is the TV and plug in Korean 110 or Korean 220?
Power is AC 100V - 240V, 1.5A, 75W and the plug is Korean
The box was in english as well as the markings on the back of the monitor
If power is 100-240 then it has a universal power supply inside it.
My AMH 399U came with a Korea to US adapter that just changes the prongs and it works fine in the US.
this is the correct answer. the reason a transformer isnt needed is because the amh399 tolerates the us input voltage. no transformer needed to take 110 to 220 becuase the psu in the amh was designed to accept 110v (according to the label).
this is how my own personal amh399 was, though sadly it died after 4 years of nearly continuous use
ty so much for all your replies, it is greatly appreciated.
