AMD vs Intel for $150

I have the chance to get a new CPU and MoBo, i wanna spend about $150 on the CPU and $100 on the Mobo.

I play games like Minecraft, Bf3, and CoD.

Which CPU will be the best for my purpose and price range?

 

These are the AMD's i found. I dont know much about intel though, thanks.

-AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition

-AMD FX-6200 Zambezi 3.8GHz

-AMD FX-4300 Vishera 3.8GHz

The 3220 is around 100-130 I think then you go up to the lower end i5s which start around 170-180 I think. Thread for thread (in game), Intel destroys AMD, but the Fx 6 core will destroy in multi threaded applications like rendering. Anyways a good Z77 mobo is the MSI Z77A-G45 its about a 100$

no. you want the fx 6300. especially for BF3. there are parts of the game that won't even show up on a dual core

This is beacuse for a limited time you get 8 gigs of memory as well. I would go for nothing less than a motherboard with the 990fx chipset though.
