AMD-VI in FX-8350

Hi guys


I have question regard the FX-8350.

I'm interested in the virtualization support of the CPU, can someone check for the support for AMD-Vi ? I found some info, couldn't clearfiy it till now. Possible to get some feedback here?

what kind of virtual enviroments do you wanna run?

With AMD-Vi your able to perform passthrough of PCI devices.I want to use this  for  creating a VM with Windows 7. There I want to do some gaming. Without the problem of limited virtual graphiccard stack.

I thinking of getting a ASRock 990FX Extreme4, but only looking for a good CPU.

amd is good for vi, but not as good as intel. if your gonna go amd then the 8350 is a must.

I heard some time that Intel is now where AMD was 5 years agoin in scope of virtualization. Can be. So you know that this CPU support AMD-VI cpu instruction? This for sure?

yes it does, as long as you have 9 series motherboard with it your good to go.
