I have been using AMD raidxpert2 and have a raid 1(1TB, 2 Disks w/1 hotspare), and a raid 10 (4x256gb Disks w/1 hotspare) array. I plugged in a nvme drive and now my raid arrays show as RAW. Is there any way for me to get windows to see the data on the array again? This is Server 2019 and all my VM’s lived on these drives. I didn’t change any settings in the bios. I have since taken the NVME drive out but the data is still gone. 5950x, 64gb, Asrock Taichi
I ended up just recovering the data to my nas and bailing on the raid. Currently I’m fighting to get the OS to see the nvme drive.
The OS was using the AMD Raid Bottom driver instead of the default NVME storage controller driver. Consider this solved.
