AMD - R9-300 Series Already Listed Online by Swedish E-Tailers

Some of the R9-300 series cards have already been listed on a few Swedish E-Tailers, from what is shown on those sites,

the R9-390x Bermuda XTX card will come with,

  • 512-bit bus
  • 7000mhz Memory Clock
  • 1ghz Core-Clock

The R9-380x card will come with a

  • 384-Bit Bus
  • 6000mhz Memory Clock
  • 900mhz Core-Clock

The R9-370x Treasure Islands card will come

  • 256-bit bus
  • 5000mhz Memory Clock
  • 900mhz Core-Clock

All these cards will support DirectX12 and Mantle.

this is a HUGE hint that the AMD's Answer to Maxwell will be coming ALOT sooner then we think.

the R9-380x has a listing of 7999 Swedish Kr, which roughly translates to $959 (Take these prices with a grain of salt)

Thoughts on this? this is pretty exciting leak,

Also this is a mock-up of what the R9-300 Series Reference Coolers may appear to look like, which isn't far off to the designs leaks we've seen before, it shares the aesthetics of the R9-295x2.

Side Comment, This is one SEXY ass Reference Cooler.

(Bless our Lord and Savior AMD for finally getting their head out their ass with the reference coolers

Leak season is my second favorite season. Favorite season is when the cards actually come out. I can't wait for more but I know they are going to reveal this at Computex 2015 but AMD can surprise us.

Reference cooler is good looking but I really don't give a crud about reference coolers. As long as it cools the card efficiently and if AMD are actually going to water cool them, that would be great. Otherwise, I am just getting a Sapphire aftermarket reference card, then custom loop them later.

There have been reports of the R9 390X being 300W but honestly, I do not care especially since that card will be targeting for mainly enthusiasts and if the 300W equats to extremely high performance, so be it. The R9 380X will probably be the real show since it is trying to top the GTX 980.

Also, here is an article that rounds up all of the leaks, facts, rumors and fakes about the R9 300 series.

Interesting. I heard the 380X was gonna be the top of the line for a while and that it was gonna have th 300W TDP and come with factory watercooling. That they were saving the 390X.

I am use to feeding two cards 500w (2x7950s) I will gladly take 300w for one that will top it.

AMD bring it!

Yeah but too bad even if it completely destroys a 980 and is $200 cheaper people will still say the nVidia is better because it uses less power.

Let them, just give us who are worthy what we want! And for the record that is exactly what I am wishing for.

I will spend 600$ for the "Next Level" of performance.

Well fanboys will say that. Actual enthusiasts do not give a crap unless it provides inefficient performance. That is one of the things I liked about the R9 295x2. It was made with sheer performance in mind.

My problem with Nvidia is mostly

Gameworks

Open Source

Exchange rates usually always have wasted cash included in it, with that in mind i decided to reference something else. the gtx 960 is 2000 kr and is 200 usd so 380x = 800 usd? still a bit high I was expecting 600 ish but we will see

+1

Gonna be interesting to see these cards in action.

Pretty much. They make great products but I really do not like their business ethics. They seem like a company that cares way more about profit than actual innovation.

I'm dying to see these cards in action.  If the rumors end up being even just mostly true these things will be fucking beastly

These cards are outdated already, look at how much power they draw.

Nvidia still rulzz.

/sarcasm.

Maybe the last 50 watts are weak watts that don't quite have the amps to back them up. (-:

But there's no performance impact. Nvidia said so.

The weak last 50 watts were discovered by users who noticed stuttering when they pushed their cards to the max.

But there's no performance impact. Nvidia said so.

Look, Nvidia cards are so power efficient!

Hammy, I call BS on this one, I don't think this leak is legit. Just doesn't seem like the right specs to me

BUT PLACE YA BETS ON WHAT YOU THINK! https://teksyndicate.com/forum/general-discussion/place-your-bets/193325 IS IT BS OR NOT? PUT YOUR MONEY ON IT!!

I really doubt there will be that many cores. It seems unrealistic for a non workstation card. Also the price is way too high for a card of that category. And if you are moving down manufacturing size, I would have thought they would have given it a bit more of a speed increase. It just doesn't add up right.
