AMD FX REVEAL( Spoilers)

Their an FX reveal on June 4th, on this website www.ifitcanreachspace.com

I will give a link giving it away using shady ways with firefox developer tools.

This will spoil it, don't blame me lol.

BTW: The  www.ifitcanreachspace.com is made by AMD and I found that image on the same site using developer tools, Yes I did have threads on FX cpu's recently, one of them I had to delete cause I got an email from an AMD exec. I have other less interesting images from that site here.

Proof the website is by AMD is here

Update: It is possible this are mobile FX cpu's so that's a bummer/we will have to wait and see, but one thing for sure, it's an FX product.

class="countdownfinish">AMD\'s most advanced APU ever.<br />Welcome to Earth</h1>');

I found this too, so I think it the mobile FX that got leaked ):

Update 2: My source has said to think space and ballon's as mobility ): lol he knew I was going to be dissapointed

Update 3: For desktop users who came here, here's what my source said " No date is set, yet, for a public event to say more. But I can assure you we intend to remain the leaders in gaming technology, and we brought Jim Keller back to AMD to build new generations of CPU cores…" so I reponded saying " Can't you release a steamroller or excavator as a treat to hold us off till the real prize" and this is what he said " We have stated publicly that all-new CPU cores from AMD will first appear in 2016.Although Jim and his team have been tweaking the two x86 cores. So you will see incremental changes between now and the new “ground-up” cores in 2016. " Any questions put them down

Update(not related, but cool!:

This is an msi gaming am3+ (: , I know because of the socket, or maybe am4 if you're optimistic lol.

The Google Drive link doesn't work. I don't have permission to access the file.

try again, should Be fixed

I don't understand.

thats what's in the weather ballon! I found it on the website

Oh I thought spoilers meant details on the next generation of AMD FX processors if they were made.

yeah thats on june 4th, on the countdown, but know You know what the countdown Is about.

How exactly did you find this? Because I'm seriously calling BS on it

I like this a lot, no matter if it's fake or not. I'll be watching on the 4th of June (after I watch the SpaceX launch video http://www.spacex.com/webcast/).

@TheWarrior: Generalolz made a thread about the new FX processor that AMD is working on a few days before AMD officially announced it. I wouldn't dismiss his posts yet.

I hope they improve the per-core-performance and TDP on their next FX line.

I wonder what they'll launch into orbit

Sorry

I'm intrigued but not getting my hopes up.

Some new FX chips would be great as would a refresh of their high end mobos.

yeah thanks, and the image i actually found on That website using developer tools, theirs another one launching the ballon but That wasn't interesting.

Steamrolller, BUT FASTER!

# 6.3GHz FOR BLAST PROCESSING POWER!

# 300W TDP KEEPS YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD WARM AS THE SUN SHUTS DOWN IN SHAME!

# COMES WITH A BELT WHICH SAYS "INTEL SUXX!1!1!!" FOR THE MOST "HARDCORE FANS"!

Good find. This should be interesting. Maybe along with a new fx processor, we'll get a new fx motherboard.

Don´t post in complete caps next time please.

I apologize, it was a joke XD

If amd is realy gonne reintroduce theire CMT and can implementate that to theire current architecture, that would be interessting. But the big question will be, are we going to see FX 8core chips with cmt 16 thread? or are we going to see quadcore´s with cmt, 8 threads.. ☺

I really doubt AMD will reintroduce CMT technology to their newer designs. CMT simply isn't designed for the general user. Having one of the "cores" in the module under heavy load, hurts performance on the second "core" in the same module.

But only time will know.

Very interested, but at the same time I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm guessing we will see improved performance per watt but nothing too spectacular in terms of raw CPU performance (IPC per core etc.)
