AMD FX 8350 and Win 8.1

Hello, I have an AMD FX 8350 in my computer and I recently updated to Windows 8.1 and I have been getting a "System Service Exception" error and then I have to restart my computer. This happens when I am playing games, watching videos or just letting my computer sit idle. I called Microsoft and they said that I need to go back to Windows 8 until this problems fixed because they have an update for windows 8 that will fix the issue with AMD processors, but not windows 8.1. 

With that being said I was curious if anyone else has had this problem and knows anything about it. Thanks.

Yes YEs YES! I have the exact same problem. I have replaced every part in my computer to try and fix it.

Nope, before I upgraded to Windows 8.1 I made sure I got all of the available updates for 8.

you did a update or clean install?

I've been running Windows 8.1 since the update came out and I have an OC'd 8350... Only time I got errors was with unstable OC.  I haven't heard of this issue with 8350 and Windows 8.1 before.
