My co-worker wants a PC for Mastercam, autocad, and similar programs. Every build I've seen for a mastercam machine uses intel. Does AMD just suck in these types of programs, or is it just a coincidence?
Also, not related to this forum, but would a desktop GPU work, even though it "requires a professional graphics card". I know the main difference is the drivers, but I'm curious about how important that is.
