Im having some problems with my 7950, i ran it stock and it seemed fine, tried to OC a bit and use the 12.11 Drivers and It crashed, so i went back to 12.10 and figured out the main reason as i could up the volatge, so with msi afterburner, everything runs fine even at 1100/1450 i stress tested it and the card got a bit hot but didnt crash, ive run Kombustor & Furmark to test it and everything was fine, but now every once and awhile when i watch youtube video or am just browsing the AMd Drovers will Crash on me and i have no clue why because i know my Oc's Stable ? anyone have any ideas ?
Ya, I've been having this problem with my MSI 7970, the drivers crash, and come back after a minute or so, even with little or no overclock. Definatly need some help with this one.
I have a AMD 7870 and it wont even let load the driver without it crashing
you could try to go back more in drivers. something like 12.7 or even more...

Seems to have stopped & i know the Oc is stable ive stress tested the hell out of it, i checked just after the crash in afterburner and it seems that something was a bit iffy with the profiles running, i think part of it was me forgeting to clean out the left overs from trying out the 12.11 beta drivers will let anyone know if i find a reason/Cause of the problem and if it happens again, BTW my 7950 is Oc'd to 1030/1375 @ 1.21 Volts
I had it in a system with a Corsair 750 TX(I think?) on an Asus board with an i5 clarkdale. I have since taken it out an replaced it with my other card (the one originally in that system), since I plan on using it in my upcoming build. I will post a new thread if I am still having these problems then.
Seems to have Occured Again, wierd thing was that Shockwave Flash In chrome reported crashing to me, so i think it could be causing the Drivers to Crash Aswell, Anyone have any ideas ?
Edit: Microsoft Silverlight Crashed Right After so its not the flash Plugin, When i Opened Afterburner i noticed when it crashed the core go to 1050 (my overclock) and the memory drop to 150Mhz from 1425 (my overclock) so i think this may be a problem with the performance steates of the card ?
