so after FRESH installing windows + installing 16.4 drivers that SEEMED to work not 3 days ago till i started updating im still getting screens where my display is either black and u can see or it flashes or a mixtured of differnt colors... its not my display or hardware its a driver issue i just cant seem to fix it would anyone beable to help me if i shair screen via skype and u can se wahts going on? it would really REALLY help me
I know you are saying its a driver issue, but that sounds like a classic example of a bad or loose cable.
That sounds like a bad card to me if everything is screwed in.
I tried everything unplugging ans plugging back in I'll give it another smack later but it's so killing me I just want it to go right for once
Still could be a bad cable.
I'm trying to Co tact the place I orderd my monitor from ud think after dropping 750 bones they would send u a new cable but nahh they just said contact the manufacture.. oh my are they gonna get an earful if I have to call and waste my 50 min I get a month on this lpl
Well I mean it is probably just HDMI or DisplayPort. You can get those anywhere for literally a couple of dollars...
I wouldn't wait on you getting the cable from the people who made the monitor...
Must be awsome living in America can't get shit here for less then 10 bucks lol
fkin A
AMD
Tell me aboot it
I'll go out side and grab one lol I'll see if it is in face of display port cable
Would I be able to tell if I hook a hdmi up 2 it?
If the monitor has HDMI yeah you could hook it up. If it works over HDMI then your issue is the DP cable. If it doesn't work over HDMI then it looks like you have got a bad card. Which happens from time to time.
The artifacting you're describing doesn't really sound like a drive issue to me. Seems like a cable or GPU hardware related.
So try with an HDMI cable and report back.
Ok I'll give it a shot in a few and get back to u
To avoid leaving the house I just orderd a dis play port coord from amazon should be here next week till then I'll play around with hdmi and the current one... I'm pretty sure it's not my card it worked fine for a whole day then I unhooked the monitor onto a stand an that's where it went all fucky so I'm pretty sure I forgot to push the button and yanked it out
