AMD's new software named crimsom has been release so whos updated to it and if so how are you enjoying it or arent you?

Catalyst is going to rest in peace. AMD has decided to replace it with a more modern version called AMD Radeon Crimson.

Good. That piece of shit software was holding me back from moving away from nVidia for any of my builds except APU where I sacrificed a little fucking sanity

we'll see haven't tested it yet, once i get back home i'll take a look. but i believe i'll prefer the old catalysts.

Catalyst every two weeks be like "hold on while I install a mountain of check boxes which each represent also mountains"

Do you know if it is being released for Linux? Nice GUI for AMDgpu would be sweet.

allegedly Crimson is supposed to update and fix decade old issues and is much more responsive.

it should I believe. but I can't properly test this as I run Linux on my Laptop. but from a performance standpoint I would expect the Open Source Drivers to come much later since this just got released today.

im enjoying it its much nice and quicker then the old one but i love the fact when you click additional settings on the display tab it loads up a portion of the old catalyst program

Omega came to Linux but the GUI didn't. Would be nice to have a front end that doesn't look 20 years out of date. Same goes for team green.

Looking at the benchmarks now, and holy shit I actually didn't expect it.
Over 15.11.1 which released just last week there is improvements for all GCN cards in ALL GAMES.
Way to go AMD.

I will have to pick up the Windows and Linux drivers and do some benchmarks.

Dont do it.
I have just instaled this and i cant find a dam thing, cant even find where to oc my card in it and it thinks i only have 3 games out of the 90+ i have on the drives lol so i dont find it too simple + the writing is so dam small i have to push my face 6in from the monitor.

So much for simple or easy.
just loaded up fallout to try it and i no longer have a ocd pipboy map it strobes on and off...anyone know where i can get the old driver AMD dosent let you go back on there site.

ive got the latest beta download which isnt the crimsom update if you would like it

I've been through this twice, delete the card and uninstall the software, go here http://support.amd.com/en-us/download and DL the driver to match your OS.
