Oh darn, it's the lower end cards that were released. I was hoping for an out of no where release of the HD8970 and 50.

catalyst 13.1 improves the frame latency issues the AMD side has been having, and the 8000 series is supposed to have a big speed increase over the 7k series

Hmm, I'm debating weather or not I should even update my Catalyst. When I installed my Accelero extreme plus I overclocked the sh*t out of my card with MSI Afterburner, and since I have duel monitors MSI felt it nessasary to troll me by horizontally flickering my monitors. Don't know wtf I did in Catalyst to fix it, but it works. However MSI AB still doesn't like waking up out of sleep mode. Are they ever going to fix that problem between AB and windows?

catalyst will keep it's setting when you update the drivers (just dont uninstall the old ones)
