Short ansewr Nein. better to go with an AMD 8 core.
But why do you wanne buy two 760´s for sli ?
Mainly because I have some money right now and was looking at a 780 and thought "well I hear great things about the 760's sli capability’s why not give it a shot for the same price?" but if i get a cpu and mobo a buddy of mine is buying my old card so i could move to the 770?
cause SLI is BALLER!!!!!!!!!
well offcourse 760 sli is great if you play games that have a good optimization for it, but there are also alot of games, that does not work that great, and those games gonne be a pain in the ass. I´m personaly not a big fan of dual gpu setups at all. you also need a decent psu, that is powerfull enough to power a sli setup, if you don´t have, that will also cost you extra money. i would say a GTX770 or R9-280X is a nice choice. with a FX8320 you would have a nice rig
^What she said. Single more powerful card is usually always better than 2 weaker cards. You will be much better off going with what she suggested.
Ok guys I just ordered a few new parts...
- asus sabertooth 990fx r2
- fx 8350
- evga gtx 780
- new h100i
thanks for helping me make the decision
looks awesome ☺
Ah,i see you have already ordered.Sorry if this comes late, but you could also have looked at the 760 Mars Edition.
That being said, let me tell here that i do not know how much the Mars is,as opposed to the 780.
yeah i did take a look at that... but $960 is a bit steep lol
a GTX760 mars is just a GTX760 sli on one pcb.
