amd apu bottleneck 3way cross
hi dos any one know what sort or fps you will get with a amd 7700k + 3 x 280x setup for gaming? compared to a intel i5 quad core with 3 way crossfire? please post your thoughts
(iv got a 3 x 280x + a amd 7700kapu,yes am mining. but would like to game on it in the future. just want to know if its worth the intel i5 upgrade) thanks
there will be a huge bottleneck definitely, but on an i5 there will be a bottleneck aswell.
if you want decent performance out of your triple CF, then i think you would be better jumping socket 2011 i7. But yeah is it worth it for just gaming? i guess not.
Maybe an i5 with dual 280X or an FX8350 with dual 280X.
Not sure if a 3 way xfire is a good idea. 2 should be enough. If you're going to go for a 3 way xfire,get a i7/8350
