On all my builds I have used intel but my customer has a really low budget so I have to use AMD and im pretty new to there processors. Can anybody tell me the difference between the Anthlon x2 and the Phenom II x2?
Phenom II X2:
    -Socket AM3
    -Manufactured using the 45nm die
    -Have 6MB of L3 cache
    -Higher factory clock speeds
    -More energy efficient

Athlon X2:
    -Socket AM2 or AM2+
    -Manufactured using the 65nm die
-The AM2+ have 2MB of L3 cache and the rest don't
    -Less energy efficient
    - http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/processors/athlon-x2/Pages/AMD-athlon-x2-processor-model-numbers-feature-comparison.aspx
Depends on what performance the customer wants and how much they want to spend?
If it were my money I would not buy any of the old Athlon cpu's or even the newer Kuma core x2's.
I would buy one of the newer Athlon 2 cpu's such as the 250 or 550 Black Edition.
Defintely buy Phenom II X2
phenom II x2 is way better.. dont bother to dont hesitate on this
