Ok with the benchmarks video that just came out, he said that the amd is better for gaming. I need rendering and gaming though and the 3770k was what he used to recomend. Which is better?

It would depend on your budget. The FX 8350 does show some promising results when it comes to rendering. The 3770K is more expensive then the 8350, so the price for performance will be great with the FX 8350. Basically get a good cooler, then you can overclock the FX 8350. Depending on the clock you get. You'll destroy the the 3770K in some applications and games. However, when it comes to gaming and rendering. A lot of it lands on the GPU you use. What do you plan on using for rendering?
