Hello there,
I'd like to ask, which one of the AMD HD7970 models should I buy? ( http://www.bestprice.gr/search?q=7970&c=2613&us=1 ) From this site.
Tell the reasons and stuff related. (I'd prefer an OC/Ghz edition) I have one DVI screen monitor and one VGA
Thanks for stopping by and helping me out. :)
Id go for the Gigabyte version out of those options, it will overclock well, has one of the bets coolers, and is less expensive the most of the other 7970;s shown there.
+1 agreed, those coolers are realy a good value, and the card looks also nice. and ofc the price looks good.
I'd go with this one. Sapphire and XFX really make some of the best Radeon cards, and if you don't mind that it isn't a ghz edition, it'll overclock just as well as one so it shouldn't be too much of an issue really. Just my two bits.

ASUS HD 7970 Direct CU II This card dosent mess around serious performance and huge room to over clock

I personally have 2 XFX 7970's (925mhz edition), and I would say STAY CLEAR. Don't get me wrong, the cards are really solid, run at nice temps (77C at 100% load all day), and have great performance. If you're looking to overclock though, not gonna happen. The voltage has been locked on this model thus negating any stable OC. As well, in regards to the Gigabyte card, I've read that it also has it's voltage locked.
Before I had my 7970's I tried an Asus Direct CU II 7870 and LOVED it. Very easy to overclock, fantastic cooler, solid card.
If you're looking for a model that will overclock well, I can vouch for Asus, but not XFX.
I guess I'm going for "Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970"
But there are two models... Is it worth the 70 euros more for the OCd?

Not really, you will most likely get a Higher OC with the Ghz edition but the other card will still OC fine
As for the Volatge Locking Gigabyte uses reffrence desgins for there cards they just manufacture some components themselves to improve upon there quality/reliability
i know that they arent voltage locked as ive had my 7950 to 1.22v so far
