For some reason det AMD 5350 only shows 2 cores even doh it is sold as a quadcore anyone have a idea this is happing?
It's a dual module chip.
Depending on the software you're using it might state that one core per module counts as an HT core.
It's also possible you have two cores/one module disabled in your bios.
In windows for some reason it will read one module as a single core when ever module has two physical cores. Its just windows odd way of displaying the information.
Or it could just be a was to encourage uniformed consumers to buy into Intel products. Since Intel uses SMT (Simultaneous Multi-Threading ) opposed to AMD's CMT (Cluster-based Multi-Threading).
Hmm i am using msi am1i motherboard everything is on stuck any idea how to enable the last 2 cores? Also was a HT core?
Hmm I am using windows 8.1 maybe downgrade to win 7?
