AM5 ITX Motherboard Bifurcation

Hi All,

Does anyone know or can confirm if there are any AM5 ITX motherboards that support x8/x8 bifurcation. I have found some asrock intel boards that have it documented but I can’t seem to find AMD itx board that have it documented.

Also has anyone done PCIE passthrough with bifurcated PCIE slot? Or what the IOMMU groups look like.

Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
tboxy

I have seen some AM5 ITX w/ x8/x8, but only with the 8000 cpus not 7/9000. I believe the asrock b650e-i, gigabyte b650i and asus x670i all are like that

As far as I know the Ryzen 7000/9000 CPUs support bifurcation down to x8/x8 or x4/x4/x4/x4 on the x16 slot. Unless somehow the bios option is missing it should always work. These are CPU connected lanes so the motherboard should not matter. Perhaps check the bios manuals if available (at least ASUS posts those on the support page)

Just checked on my Gigabyte B650I w/ 7700x and there are options for x8/x8, x8/x4/x4, and x4/x4/x4/x4. Not sure if they actually work tho
