AM5 desktop boards with Gen5 switchable 8/8 or 16/NA slots?

Hello:

I’m looking for an AM5 desktop board where the usual Gen5 16x lanes from CPU can optionally be routed to two 8x electrical (16x physical). The use case is 2x air cooled GPUs for compute.

Supermicro makes something like this, but the slots are too close together and also it’s more of a server board with IPMI etc. Plus it’s quite expensive. See: H13SAE-MF | Motherboards | Products | Supermicro

Has anyone done a roundup / review of desktop boards that can do this? Probably there could be quality differences depending on proper mux/retimer usage etc.

Thank you!

You should be able to filter out from this sheet:

I personally have a x670e ProArt with 2x3090s and I’m pretty satisfied with it.

The x870e Taichi has a wider spacing between the two slots, in case that’s what you’re looking for.
