I got much better results with my OC once I started messing with FSB speeds. A few different forums have noted that there seem to be "islands of stability" with FSB OCing, for me my motherboard really like 264. Other guys with the exact same set up have had to use 240, 300, 280, its just about experimenting. I was able to get my 8350 up to 4.9 with 1.45 core stable for everyday use, BOINC, and gaming, but not IBT stable, so I backed back down to a rock solid 4.6. However, The motherboard is running a fair bit above spec, which helps with L2 cache speed iirc, as well as memory speed (wont really notice this though). The main gains from OCing my chip with FSB and multi as opposed to just multi is bringing the voltage down. Right now im 4.6 @ 1.33v compared to my multi only OC at 4.8 @ 1.443v
