Doing an upcoming build with an amd 8350 and a r9 290, looking for a good am3+ mother board for around $150, I'm gonna be doing some overclocking and gaming on this rig. Thanks all

asus m5a99fx pro is about the best you can do at that price

If you could I'd go with this one http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-sabertooth990fxr20 it's about $175 but is arguably the best AM3+ Motherboard available.

Sabertooth is an great choice, if its over budget, then indeed the Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0 is also a decent board to with. ☺
