Hey there community, I was just curious if anyone knows of a product on the market that does the job of the Schiit Wyrd to clean up the sound coming from the usb interface itself because when I listen through my speakers or through my headphone amp. The sound seems to be some kind of extra layer of sound that is transmitted through the cable into my usb interface and out to whatever I am listening to, so if there is anyone in the community that could give me some useful information it would be much appreciated.
Well, you can try other USB noise isolators like the one from HifimeDIY:
Or you could try a decent usb hub (make sure you get one that is grounded). If it's just a USB power problem, that should fix it too. If not, then an internal USB expansion card might do the trick, bypassing your onboard USB all together. I'm assuming you've tried multiple USB ports on your computer, and I'm also assuming you've tested your amp/dac on another computer (and tried other USB cables) to make sure that it's not a problem with it, as well as tried other headphones to rule them out as the culprit (also posting what amp/dac your using, as well as your computer specs would be helpful, you can just put that info in your profile if you want).
Hopefully that made sense, I'm more than a little drunk at the moment lol.
