Alternatives to Bitdefender GravityZone

Not sure where to put this one, so move as necessary.

We currently use Bitdefender GravityZone for our business, it’s something inherited. This thing is a massive memory hog, sitting at roughly 400-500MB of RAM just for the client. That is a massive amount on some of our PC’s that only have 4GB of RAM. Also, it’s resource intensive, constantly pushing updates, running scans, hogging the CPU, etc.

What is an acceptable alternative to this resource pig?

If it’s business/centrally managed security endpoints you’re looking for then I’d suggest Sophos Central or ESET. They both work well, and I’ve had minimal issues.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will take a look at those. Has anyone had experience with MalwareBytes enterprise solutions? Or the “new” Panda after it was bought up by Watchguard?

Sophos comes to mind.
Also gives you centrally manged Bitlocker (for a price, that is).
