Alternative monitor stands for about $30 (Vesa compatible)

I recently bought a monitor, but have found the stand it came with to be rather wobbley (very lose, even with the screws tightened all the way). It is vesa compatible and am looking to spend about $30 at most. It doesn't need to be pretty, but I'm looking for something that will keep the thing still when I'm doing something as simple as typing. Any suggestions would be helpful.
