Hello all, I am 14 years old, and wanted to invest in cryptocurrency early on in life. I was wondering if any of you knew of any good deals on efficient cards for script mining such as the Radeon HD 7950 or the R9 280x? If I have to, I can pay a lot of money, but I am trying to cut costs because I plan on buying the card with my car savings. By the way, I don't really want to Bitcoin mine, I will probably just mine other altcoins and convert them.
Out of those two, I'd say the 280X would be the better choice. That being said, the vast majority of high-end AMD cards (including the 280X and the 7950) on Newegg are sold out (last I checked) due to a massive jump in interest for Litecoins. Interesting little bit of info.

Why not just go all out and pick up the Radeon 290X?
