ALIX/APU Routers / PFSENSE and IPFIRE

Hey Guys,

I recently watched your videos on building a custom router, specifically the PFSense video (building a router out of an old pc) and INBOX.exe 0035, where you guys briefly mention the ALIX platform for building a router. Also in The Tek: 0112 where you mention the newer Alix APU boards w/IPFire for better wifi support. (apu1c and apu1c4) 

I'd love to see a more in-depth hardware video on Alix/Apu routers and available addons, as well as some info on what type of board the next tier of router would be, something more powerful than the current alix routers. PFSense vs IPFire? I'd love to see a video on that too.

I agree more videos on the networking and of that nature would be excellent.

i have been playing around with a few j1900 celeron intel integrated motherboards for home routers, and despite a lack of AES instructions, the j1900 runs circles around them. Although crummy bios support for things like pfsense have been a limiting factor for most people to use them.
