Airflow ducting

this topic is similar to a few already posted.
no matter what brand or type of case / hardware you may have, airflow planning is a must for efficient cooling.
typical systems are not really designed for top efficiency but the minimum required.

its simple to draw out the airflow path you want, But If you have a 3D printer you can make the duct work a reality just remember to use curved surfaces instead of sharp angles to prevent turbulence and undue noise.
If using transparent plastics you can probably add a few rgb leds for aesthetic purposes.

Or… just buy a case that doesn’t suck for airflow in the first place? They’re not that expensive…

true but as you upgrade or add custom graphics cards etc you change the dynamics of the case.

all im saying is you can get any case you want and improve it with a little planning.
with well channeled airflow to the parts that actually benefit from it allows you to lower fan speeds and noise output from the fans.

second its also a little challenge from an engineering aspect of things to see how far you can push the envelope to peak efficiency.
