Just wondering if AirDrop requires that both WiFi and Bluetooth be apart of the same card/chip in order to work, or if AirDrop can work with both WiFi and Bluetooth being separate chips/cards on the same device.
I would ask on the osx86 or tonymac forums. All I know is that the built in OSX drivers for the supported wifi BT combo chips will work 1:1.
