Aggravating Problem with new PC build. Please Help

So basically My PC has been having this problems of when if I go onto the internet or anything connected to the internet My computer will freeze. The time frame of it freezing is 5-10 min. I'm Pretty sure its not a virus tried 3 different Antivirus programs (Avast, Malwarebytes, and Microsoft security essentials). None of them picked up any virus. So then I thought maybe its just Windows 7 acting up so i decided to do a fresh install of it. I got and activated Windows 8.1 64bit Pro on the computer. I even formatted both of my drives just to be sure. So after I installed it I went to go to IE to go download Google chrome, and Java and other necessary programs for the computer. 5 min later the computer froze. Again. It just Kind of stumps me because I have tested all of the parts in My other PC's and they all Work completely fine.

I have tried almost every web browser all do the same thing freeze. It even freezes when I go onto steam.

Also all of the drivers are up to date.

But here is the funny thing I can play skyrim, left 4 dead 2, or even borderlands 2 for hours and hours and the PC wont freeze.

Honestly any kind of advice is welcome im kind of desperate at this point .

Thanks in advance,

Kyle H.

PS: I could tell you the SPECS of the PC if that's any help.

Are you using an on-board nic (if so what mobo), or something else?

Specs would be nice, yes.

GIGABYTE F2A55M-HD2 Motherboard

Amd A6 5400k CPU

Vision Tek red label Ram 4GB 2133mhz

and just a rosewill case with a 300watt PSU that came with it.

Hmm, a few things to try: Run a memory check for a couple passes, use a different OS like Ubuntu to check internet browsing, run a CPU check, and slow down the RAM. For some reason, the RAM part sometimes helps even if there are no reported memory errors.

Ok thx ill try that
