Well just remember, this book isn't about pen testing. It's more about Kali imaging and deployment and how to use the OS itself and how to customize an image for your organization.
well yeah.
Thats the hard part. ive had several issues in the past trying to even get kali to install

you may want to try other Linux distros to get your feet wet and learn how the OS works, then you'll be able to find out what you may be doing wrong or how to fix it.

I hope they include a chapter on writing extensions for ice weasel!
